Still Lifes - Fruits and Vegetables in the Old Masters Method

These are 9"x12" oil paintings.  It was my first time trying out the old masters geezer method. Starts out with painting several layers of transparent paint. The last stage is putting on the opaque paints. This method brings out the oil paints luminosity.

  1. They are Very Nice!
But I'm betting they take more time to paint.

BTW~ I was at "Paula's Place" today and I think I got a better picture of the lake. Will try to get it up tonight.

  2. Thank you. Waiting for them to dry is what took up time. It was well worth the wait.
